Journey Within a Trial
‘Journey Within a Trial’ is a digital animation in which the main character finds himself in a roughly sketched pen-drawn, unfinished game world. The journey is impossible for him, however, because in the beta version there is a bug – the walls interact with the main character and don’t allow him to take further steps. This doesn’t apply to the background characters, though; they can freely go about their journey. The style simultaneously evokes something from old classic cartoons and something from rough doodles in a notebook for quick ideas.
The music was composed by the artist using the Garage Band application. Everything that was ultimately created is her one big experiment.
