Emanuele Kabu currently resides and works in Venice. His artistic journey took root in 2005, shifting from graffiti, drawings and paintings, along with a background in hardcore punk and electronic music, to animation.
Blending both traditional and contemporary animation methods, he has directed and animated numerous music videos and short films showcased at various festivals and exhibitions globally.
Since 2021, Emanuele has been collaborating with the London-based studio OMBRA DESIGN, serving as a designer and art director for live music shows, including The Killers, Marracash, Indira Paganotto and many more.
ECHOES
ECHOES is a brief animated journey, conceived as artist’s personal diary of the past two years. Drawing inspiration from real places he’s visited, it unfolds as an unscripted, non-narrative sequence of animated sketches.
